If you rent out one of the rooms in the back - the Fantastic, really nice that your privacy and if you get them on the right day you can get a great discount.
You could be a guest over and over there again and it doesn't really matter, do not put your stuff in the lockers because if you lose your key or it locks on you they will charge you $200 and they will not give you your stuff, I went through a nightmare yesterday and I used to actually like the place but after what happened yesterday it was like highway robbery so I highly advise you do not put your stuff in the back of those lockers because if you do be prepared to pay $200.
I reall enjoyed the pool and the free things that was offered. The staff was very helpful and the price was the best part! Not a whole lot of $$ for your bang!
Although the neighborhood is not so great, this hotel was excellent for our needs. We were there for 1 night before we caught our flight home. Yes, there were planes, sirens, etc., but the overall atmosphere was suberb. There was lots of staff to answer questions, get extra towels & cleaning. Our room was spotless - the beds were comfortable, lots of hot water, terrific room service. We used the pool, laundry, bar & room services - everything was as good or better than the 4 star hotel we had stayed in during our trip. We were very impressed & delighted with this hotel.
The only reccommendation I would make is to have draperies that darken the rooms more. Our room had sheers with light cotton panels & it wasn't as dark as we would have liked. However, that was a minor detail & it would not stop us from booking at this hotel in the future.
It's a good hostel for people catching plane, which has a good location and fair price. I made a mistake and booked a suite...oh acctually i'm just a backpacker, but that's good, give me a chance to have a rest, and the bell call is very useful. I can have a free champin as well, and it's easy to borrow a hairdryer and book the free shuttle bus. There are JackInTheBox, BurgerKing, Yoshinoya nearby, so it's easy to get food=)
Rocah in my 144 room Everyday so sad!!!
Well. The hotel had everything we needed. Close to airport with free pickup, complimentary muffins for breakfast and complimentary brunch. We had come for an exam, so, we appreciated that the hotel was not much noisy. The rooms were clean and comfortable also.
The location. Nothing of worth is nearby. They provide a free ride to nearby manhattan beach everyday, though.
I booked two rooms for myself, my daughter, son-in-law and their two daughters. We arrived in middle of night and were told that only one room was available for us, as there had been a mistake. We were told all rooms were fully booked now. It was some time before I could persuade staff to find us alternative accomodation. The requested pillows were not brought to us for 1/2 an hour.
More than a little noisy and run down but very convenient with free parking and an airport shuttle.
Pricing was good affordable. Good location close to LAX and Loyola Marymount University.
Parking lot is too SMALL. Very hard to park car. Took me 30 minutes to finally get parking space in reserved parking lot. Hotel Clerk forgot I was waiting for her to open door and I had to call her to remind her. She said she forgot. I talked to her 5 minutes prior to my calling her.
I paid in cash. Didnt get a receipt because lights were out. Hotel charged dibit card anyway. Never returned my calls. Couldnt dispute charges with bank because I didnt have receipt.
No Hot water No channels on the TV Always Noisy and disturbing
Very dirty place. I never gonna be there again
Good price, location and amenites.
Could be more clean.
It was ok for a quick night stopover - for what we paid.
I did not feel safe at all though and the shower did not work properly. The neighbourhood felt so unsecure and you could hear peoples cars and subwoofers all night.
It is a hotel/hostel, a lot of young people from all over the world. Has everything you need as tourist: Wi-Fi, swimming pool, free coffee, transport to airport and other touristic location, nice bar/restaurant, really nice and helpful staff. Not a classic hotel.
